Before spending any money for a pump, I did a lot of research. Based on everything that I found the Purely Yours is supposed to be a good pump, and it really does live up to its expectations. It is comfortable and very easy to use. Cleaning it is easy (only 2 pieces for each side - fewer pieces to wash than with a bottle). And it is small enough for me to toss in a tote bag when I go to work.

| this
pump was offered to me at the hospital and i am so glad i got
it!! my daughter was not able to get the hang of nursing, so
at 3 weeks i turned into a full time pumper. i worked full time
and we succesfully completed a full year of breast feeding.
this pump was so easy to use, and the car adapter was my best
friend!! i don't reccomed using bateries unless it is an emergency
because i did'nt have the greatest luck getting them to work
consistently. i am currently expecting my second and fully intend
on bringing this out of storage for another year. no complaints,
very highly reccomended. |

I was so worried about buying a breast pump because most of them are quite expensive and you cannot return them if they don't work out. My first choice did not work out well at all. I bought an Evenflo double electric pump that never worked for me. Needless to say, I did a lot more research before making my second purchase. I read a lot of good reviews about the Ameda Purely Yours so I figured it was worth a try. The pump even came pre assembled, which was a HUGE plus for me. The Purely Yours has really worked well for me. I have been able to speed up my pumping time and have increased my supply. I have been very satisfied with this pump from day one. |

This pump has saved me a lot of money while using it with two babies. Now we are expanding the family, I know I can take it out of storage, dust it off, and use it with the third child. It is a very lightweight, durable workhorse. I have tried Medela and Playtex ( just for comparison's sake) and it is the better pump. Thank goodness I went to a hospital that had Ameda pumps and not Medela, or I may have gotten the medela out of ignorance. |

I was trying to decide which Medela
pump would be the best for me until a friend suggested the Purely
Yours. I am so glad that she did because this pump is fantastic.
I had used a Medela when I was in the hospital so I thought
I'd just go ahead and buy one of those, but I felt the Ameda
was so much better for me. |

I started looking into getting a breast pump even before my son was born. I knew I wanted to have the option of having extra milk around in case I wasn't able to breastfeed. Everyone kept raving about the Medela Pump n Style. After seeing the price tag on that baby, I was in shock. Almost $300 for a breast pump? Are you kidding me? I desperately searched around for an alternative, but everyone kept telling me to get the Medela because nothing was better. Finally someone mentioned that my hospital sold an excellent pump for $199. I went and checked it out, but having no experience with a breast pump, I wasn't really sure if it was good. After speaking with a lactation consultant who assured me it was excellent and every bit as good as the more expensive pumps, I purchased the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump with Carry All. I had never heard of the Ameda
pumps before. All I knew was Medela. I'm very glad this brand
was introduced to me. It's an excellent high quality breast
pump. So if you are looking for a pump and are hesitant to plop
down a ton of money for the Medela, check out the Ameda
Purely Yours. I found my pump at BreastPumpsDirect.com
for the lowest price. It's great and I love it! |

This pump worked great for me. I was able to express a LOT of milk. More than my baby drank per sitting, which helped reduce the number of times I needed to pump a day. I worked full-time, so I only breast-fed my baby a couple times per day. I was able to continue until 9 months easily, without a losing milk production. Pros: I liked that the milk could not get into the tubing. That made the whole thing sanitary and easy to clean. It was easy to get additonal parts. I needed the large size cup, and I just ordered online. No problem. I liked the multiple settings I could choose. Cons: It really pulled on my breasts. My nipples
would STRETCH when I pumped. Now, my nipples look a little funny.
But I think any suction pump would do this. |

I had to choose between the Medela pump and this one, the Ameda. I chose this one because it was smaller, uses batteries or a car adapter and it was priced more affordably. When I use it I can empty both of my breasts in about 15 to 20 minutes. The variable suction and cycle speeds can be real lifesavers. At first pumping made my nipples were sore so I used the lower settings, but now I have been able to slowly increase the speed to speed up the pumping process. The cooler makes it easy to store my milk during the day while I’m at work and the carryall bag is great for carrying the pump and accessories to and from work everyday. As an added bonus this pump is quite inexpensive when compared to other comparable pumps. |

I received this pump as a gift from a friend. I just had my second child and use it every day to have a couple bottles stored away for outings. I used a manual pump for my 1st child and that was a nuisance and I quit breastfeeding after going back to work when my daughter was only 4 months old. Using this pump, I'll continue feeding my baby breastmilk much longer...hopefully the first year. |

| This is a great breastpump. It's very easy to use and very lightweight. I use it at home and work every day (I pump 4 times daily). I've even begun using it while I feed. It moves throughout my house and back and forth to work with very little fuss. Without it, I think I would have stopped breastfeeding when I returned to work. |

| I love it! Won this at breastpumps.com & it has been wonderful, definitely as good as the ones that I used to rent from the hospital and the bag & car adapter make it so convenient.. Thank you Breastpumps.com, I would definitely reccommend the Ameda Purely Yours with Carryall! |

| My son stopped nursing altogether when he was 2.5 months old, and despite help from a lactation consultant, I never managed to re-establish our breastfeeding relationship. But, thanks to this awesome pump, he's still getting 100 percent mama milk, four months later! I had originally planned to get the Medela pump, but a friend highly recommended the Ameda, and it was so much less expensive that I thought I'd try it. This model comes with the pump unit, the "hygienikit" (the flanges, tubes, etc.), a small cooler bag to put milk in, six 4-ounce bottles (with caps), a larger tote for the whole shebang, and info on milk storage. The pump itself has worked great for me. I pump about 45-60 ounces of milk per day, and it's shown no signs of wear. It's a little noisy, but not awful -- and from my understanding, pretty much ALL pumps are on the loud side. I also find the pump quite comfortable to use. The variable speed and suction settings make it easy to find the right one for you. My only complaint is that the way everything fits into the totebag -- with the cooler bag on the bottom, then the pump, then the flanges -- it's rather top-heavy (unless you have milk in the cooler) and tends to tip over. It's not a big deal, but it is a minor annoyance. |

| I have been using this pump at work for the past 5 months and have been pleased. I had one issue and Ameda was quick to send me another pump. It fit the pump parts I was given in the hospital, so I have 2 sets of horns--a huge bonus. I would definitely buy it again. I bought my pump at Amazon! They had fast shipping and a good price. |

| This one looked the best to me. I have to go back to work after 6 wks so I need a pump that will last a long time and get the job done in a fast and easy manner. |

I love this pump for many reasons. It is really easy to use and clean. This manual pump was also very inexpensive when compared to other pumps. I would recommend this pump to any mother that wants to pump once or twice a day and isn’t looking to spend a ton of money. |

| I rented the Ameda Elite pump from lactation services at the hospital when I developed mastitis. I like the way that you are able to adjust the suction strength and the speed separately from one another because it really helps me to express a lot more milk when I slow down the speed and leave the suction alone. I’ve been renting this pump for a few months and it is
starting to get expensive, so I ordered the Ameda Purely Yours
and I hope its works just as good as this one. Hopefully, I
will remember to come back a write a review on it after I’ve
used it for a while. |

I rented an SMB breast pump from the hospital when my daughter was born premature. Since she was unable to breastfeed right away I needed to pump to give her milk. This pump helped me to establish my milk supply. I'm do not think that I would be breastfeeding today if it had not been for this pump. This pump works really well, the downside is that it is really heavy and therefore is not the easiest thing to carry around. I've been pumping with the SMB for four months now, and I am considering buying an Ameda Purely Yours to make things a little more convenient. |

My lactation consultant recommended
the Lact-e pump after I gave birth to my twin boys. After the
first few days of nursing, I was exhausted so I began to pump
so that my mom could help with the feedings. This pump was a
real lifesaver since it allowed me to continue feeding my boys
breastmilk only and gave me a chance to get some much needed
rest. After six months, I am still using this pump on a daily
basis, I would buy the Ameda Elite pump, but I'm worried that
I wouldn't get the results that I am getting with the Lact-e
because I've heard that the suction isn't as strong so I will
continue to rent it as long as my boys are still breastfeeding. |
