I am super pleased with this pump and now recommend it exclusively. I am a lactation consultant and an adoptive mother who induced lactation in order to breastfeed my daughter. She came home to us at 10 months old and had other ideas ;-). She loved my milk but would not latch to the breast, so I pumped. I pumped 6-10 times per day for a year using the hospital grade Medela Lactina Select. Fast forward to now when she decided to latch for the first time ever and began breastfeeding! I gave up the Medela pump and bought an Ameda Purely Yours for once a day, daily use while I am at work. I've now been using the Purely Yours for 1.5 months. I am so pleased to say that not only does it work just as well as the hospital grade Medela, but I actually like it better! I'm not sure why, but the flanges fit a little bit better (I'd tried 3 different sizes with the Medela pump) and I'm able to get more milk in less time. Not only that but the pump is much smaller, fitting nicely on my desk. I already had a bunch of plastic bottles and didn't need a carrying case or ice packs, so I just bought the basic pump with included tubing/flange kit for around $160. What a great deal since other pumps of the same grade cost close to $300!

I really couldn't be happier with this pump, thanks Ameda! (other pumping must-haves for me have been Lansinoh milk storage freezer bags and the Easy Expressions hands free pumping bustier).

I love this pump. I am a first time mom and I was researching all the pumps out there. I went with this one and I am happy I did. I love that I can adjust the suction and the speed of the pump. I like the fact that the milk does not back up into the tubing. The flanges fit comfortably onto the breats and it does not take a long time to pump. I pump about 4-6 oz in 5-15 min depending on the session. I have been using this pump for over a month now and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a perfect fit. Also the bag is a nice concealer. The one thing I don't like is the beeping noise the actual pump makes but it not bothersome enough to be annoying.

Before spending any money for a pump, I did a lot of research. Based on everything that I read the Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump was supposed to be a good pump, and it really does live up to its expectations. It is comfortable and very easy to use. Cleaning it takes no time (only 2 pieces for each side - fewer pieces to wash than with a bottle). And it is small enough for me to toss in a tote bag when I go to work.

I got the bagless option that only came with 2 bottles so I also bought the Milkmate storage bottles, which work great with this pump. This pump is worth the money.

This pump was offered to me at the hospital and I am so glad I got it!! My daughter was not able to get the hang of nursing, so at 3 weeks I turned into a full time pumper. I worked full time and we succesfully completed a full year of breast feeding. This pump was so easy to use, and the car adapter was my best friend!! I don't recommend using bateries unless it is an emergency because I didn't have the greatest luck getting them to work consistently. I just had my second child and I still se the same pump. I got a new HygieniKit just to start with a fresh, new milk collection kit. I have no complaints about this pump, very highly recommended!

I was so worried about buying a breast pump because most of them are quite expensive and you cannot return them if they don't work out. My first choice did not work out well at all. I bought an Evenflo double electric pump that never worked for me.

Needless to say, I did a lot more research before making my second purchase. I read a lot of good reviews about the Ameda Purely Yours breast pump so I figured it was worth a try. My pump even came pre-assembled, which was a HUGE plus for me. The Purely Yours has really worked well. I have been able to speed up my pumping time and have increased my supply. I have been very satisfied with this pump from day one.

I have used this breastpump for 2 children now. My first child I pumped exclusively for over 1 year (no formula supplementing)...so this breastpump I used ALOT. No problems at all. Around the 1 yr mark the motor died (I understood though with as much as I used it), but the customer service people replaced it anyway (although the warranty was expired). I am now using the replacement pump three years later with my second child...She is 3 months old now and no problems with the breastpump (even though it was in storage for over 3 years). This is a great breastpump and the customer service is amazing.

This pump has saved me a lot of money while using it with two babies. Now we are expanding the family, I know I can take it out of storage, dust it off, and use it with the third child. It is a very lightweight, durable workhorse. I have tried Medela and Playtex ( just for comparison's sake) and it is the better pump. Thank goodness I went to a hospital that had Ameda pumps and not Medela, or I may have gotten the medela out of ignorance.
