The Purely Yours Ultra works great for me. It's lightweight, easy to clean, and has plenty of suction settings. The pump came with a lot of extras, and I use them often.

There isn't anything negative I can really say about the Purely Yours Ultra, other than the price is a little up there. It's still cheaper than some other brands though.

I bought this pump based on a recommendation from a co-worker, and now happily recommend it to anyone trying to decide on a breast pump.

Like most people, I knew nothing about what I needed in a breast pump before purchasing it. After having used the Ameda Purely Yours Ultra for 5 months, I am completely satisfied with how effective it is, as well as the overall features included.

The suction settings on the pump can be set in a bunch of different ways as far as suction speed and strength. I tried a variety of different ways, and finally found what worked best for me was to start off with a light suction strength, but very fast, and then after the milk starts flowing good, switch to harder suction at a slower speed. Doing so usually got me around 2-4 ounces of milk per breast.

The Purely Yours Ultra comes with a lot of extras, most of which come in handy often. There's 3 different sized breast flanges, milk storage bottles, a car adapter, a manual adapter, spare parts, a nice bag, and the portable cooler, which I use all the time.

Keeping the parts clean is really simple. I just put them in a bowl of warm, soapy water after I pump, and use a bottle brush or sponge to clean them for the next pumping session. It's nice because no milk gets into the tubes like other pumps do.

The only things the pump didn't come with, which I use often, are milk freezer bags, lanolin and breast pads. Get some of those and the Ameda Purely Yours Ultra, and you won't need anything else for pumping.

5 Stars! - Steph

I love this pump. I am a first time mom and I was researching all the pumps out there. I went with this one and I am happy I did. I love that I can adjust the suction and the speed of the pump. I like the fact that the milk does not back up into the tubing. The flanges fit comfortably onto the breats and it does not take a long time to pump. I pump about 4-6 oz in 5-15 min depending on the session. I have been using this pump for over a month now and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a perfect fit. Also the bag is a nice concealer. The one thing I don't like is the beeping noise the actual pump makes but it not bothersome enough to be annoying.

I have used this breastpump for 2 children now. My first child I pumped exclusively for over 1 year (no formula supplementing)...so this breastpump I used ALOT. No problems at all. Around the 1 yr mark the motor died (I understood though with as much as I used it), but the customer service people replaced it anyway (although the warranty was expired). I am now using the replacement pump three years later with my second child...She is 3 months old now and no problems with the breastpump (even though it was in storage for over 3 years). This is a great breastpump and the customer service is amazing.

The Ameda Purely Yours Ultra has it all. Everything I needed was included. The milk storage kit is a great feature, and I like that they included different sized flanges with the pump. If you're looking for a do-it-all breast pump, I would go with the Ameda Purely Yours Ultra. Great product!

I wanted to be the first person to review the new Ameda Purely Yours Ultra Breast Pump. It's Great!

Although it is more expensive than the other Purely Yours Breast Pumps it is worth every dime. They are hard to find right now so I would look at the online website.
