This is the only pump I use and I absolutely love it (yes, pumping can be enjoyable)! I work part time and I pump about 3 times a day when I’m at work. I have been using it for 3 months now (my daughter is 6 months old). I wish I had it when my 1st child was breastfeeding. I had a cheap electric when I pumped for my son and hated it. With this pump I am sure that I’ll be able to continue breastfeeding and pumping until her 1st birthday. Don’t be in a rush. Give yourself a little time and your milk to come. You won’t need to squeeze the handle very hard once you letdown.

I tried several “NEW” electric/battery designs before I found this manual set. It is the best! I was worried about going back to work and having to pump every 2-3 hours and make so much noise in the restroom. Yet I was also concerned about the length of time I thought a manual pump would take.
This back-to-work set was the answer to both of those concerns! I made sure my milk supply was well established (it only took three weeks for me before I started pumping). I was able to pump 4-6 oz in about 5 minutes and up to 9+ in under 10 minutes (and absolutely silently!)
The washable breast pads were great for night, but I used super thin ones during the day. The pump is easy and fast to assemble, and easy to clean. I stored the bottles right at my desk and the ice packs kept them cold all afternoon. And now that I am not nursing anymore, the two 4 ounce bottles and two 9 ounce bottles that are included with the set are always in use for his formula. He won’t drink from any other nipple! And the carry case – I use that for a lunch tote with the ice packs! A GREAT value!!!

Absolutely love my Avent On-the-Go manual breast pump. Used the same pump with both my children without any problems. Once I lost a part but just called Avent and they sent me a new one for free. It’s so easy to use wherever I am, especially since I don’t need to plug in. When I first started using it I did have a little trouble figuring out how the suction works but once I did it was supper easy there after. I pump on average about 6 oz. a sitting without any trouble. So glad I didn’t spend hundreds of dollars on an electric one.

I registered for this pump set before I had my first child because it was a less expensive pump with good reviews. I nursed and pumped with him for 11 1/2 months and this pump is fantastic! I don’t know if breast size has much to do with comfort, but I am rather large breasted with an excessive milk supply and this pump made pumping at work and while away great. I am using it now for my second child (7 months old) and it is still working great. I can pump both breasts fully in about 15 minutes total, depending on how relaxed I am. I no longer have the bag (the zipper broke) but I use my husband’s old Transformers lunch bag from when he was a kid, and the pump and bottles fit perfectly. I went back to work and school 40+ hours per week when each child was 6 weeks old and this pump can definitely hold up to full-time pumping! I also agree–Lansinoh milk bags are great for storing extra milk in the freezer. Also, practice with assembly and some pumping before returning to work to get used to things. You can store the pump right in the fridge with your milk during the day rather than cleaning it each time you use it, then sterilize it at the end of the day.

I have 2 of these pumps and they are fantastic. I find it to be easy and efficient to use…and I’ve been using it for over a year. It is THE BEST hand pump on the market. I ALSO have a Medela Pump N Style double electric pump…but I must say that the Avent Isis works just as well. I alternate between the two types of pumps depending on my schedule. I keep my Pump In Style at work…as it is faster to pump both sides at once…but I use the Avent Isis at home and on weekends…or if I am going to be away from the office for business travel, tradeshows, or off site meetings. It is compact and small and easy to pack for the day or a trip, etc. It is comfortable…you have a lot of control over the suction…and I can express just as much milk with this hand pump as I can with my electric pump.
All of the Avent products are fantastic. I can’t recommend them more highly. My biggest advice to anyone looking into breast pumps is NOT to buy ANYTHING sold by formula manufacturers…they do not care if you are successful breastfeeding. Avent and Medela products are wonderful. This is the absolute best pump for the money. My friend Christine used hers for over a year while working…it was the only pump she had…and she did great with it.

I’ve had this pump for nearly 3 years. I’m now exclusively breastfeeding my third child with occasional pumping. I have large breasts, and this is the most comfortable pump I’ve used with all 4 of my children.
I spent alot of money on the Medela pump in style, only to be sorely disappointed. It was not comfortable and no matter what accesories I purchased to use with it, it was uncomortable and I never got much milk production out of it.
With the Avent Isis, I was able to store so much excess mild in our deep freeze that I had to throw milk away after a few months. I HIGHLY recomend this pump!
