I am really happy with this pump so far. I have purchased it about a month after I had my son. He is now 5 months old. I don't use it regularly. I could use it up to 4-5 times a day, and then don't use it for 2 days. I had no problems with it so far, and I love that you can adjust the suction level (as a new first time mom), it is small enough to take it everywhere and easy to use. I really would recommend it.

I had gotten this pump from a family friend, brand new and I was enjoying the convenience of being able to make my own bottles for my now four month old little one. I've been using it for those four months about two times a day, five days a week and it finally broke on me while I was at work. I work full time, so having this break on me is a huge problem. It is comfortable and I do like the fact that there are adjustments for suction and it comes with it own carrying bag, but I am sorely disappointed that the suction part of this pump broke. Overall, this is an ok first time pump to own. I do feel that the price of this product is a little too much for what you get and also for having what appears to be a common problem associated with it.

I absolutely love this pump. I'm in lvn school and don't see my baby from 8-4 and I use this 3 time during the day 5 days a week an it I still doing a great job after 10 weeks. I have an Ameda purely yours and this works 10x better for me. My sister has tho same pump and loves it too. She did have to replace hers because the motor went out after milk was sucked into it.

Love this pump! My daughter is now 7 months old. I bought it while I was still pregnant. This definitely saved my sanity with the times when I thought I wasn't making enough milk. Saved us when we had a 10 hour drive and our bottle warmer broke, thank goodness I brought my pump and I pumped and gave it to her right away bec she refuses to drink cold milk. I still use it until now and will be saving it for future babies!

Such a disappointment! This pump is very comfortable and quiet, which I was so excited about, but broke down in less than 2 weeks! I got this from s friend who only pumped with it 5 times before me, and when I tried to use it, the light would click on and off at 80% of the time not even start suctioning!!! Then on the rare occasion it would actually say on, it would randomly turn off after a couple minutes!!! Needless to say after an entire day of not pumping, I will now be behind on my childs milk supply and have to go back to my noisy old pump! What a piece of garbage!!!

Used this pump for about a month before it started breaking down. There was a problem with the suction. The motor made a sound like it was working but it just stopped sucking then once in a while it would suck again. Don't buy this pump. Yes it's cheaper than the others but you get what you pay for.

Do not buy! My first one didn't work after using it once a day for two weeks. They replaced it and the second one wifjed for ten minutes. It got stuck on suction mode and didn't turn off. I had to rip the pump off my breast causing a sore. DO NOT BUY! If I could give this zero stats I would.

I use the miPump at home for minor expressions, e.g. short trips out where breastfeeding may not be an option. The miPump cup is a soft plastic and comfortable. But the plastic is opaque and so it's somewhat hard to see when my milk actually stops (a very minor complaint). The level of power/suction seems fine; it does the job although it can seem like slow-going if you're pumping a lot of milk (the bottle holds just over 5-ounces) or pumping both breasts. It is a bit noisy and I noticed that the small unit will "travel" on a smooth, hard surface (so don't put it near the edge of a table)! I like that it's so small and portable--it would easily fit in a medium-sized purse, an overnight bag, etc. Let the pump run for a few minutes after pumping and it'll dry out the inside of the tubes. In hindsight, I, too, probably would've gotten the double pump, just because it's faster.
