If you only need to pump occasionally this manual pump will work. However if your going to use it more than say once or twice a week I wouldn't recommend it because I have problems with milk backing up into the handle. Because of this it takes me a long time to pump an oz. of milk to store. I disappointed with this pump because I thought that the Gerber name implied that it would be a quality product.

This thing was a huge waste of money, it didn't work at all.

We ended up purchasing an Avent Isis instead and it works flawlessly.

Steer clear from this piece of garbage.

This was a total waste of money. I tried for days, and I could not get any milk flow from this pump. It was a huge disappointment.
