I had to purchase this pump when I went on an overnight trip and forgot my manual medela pump. It is a huge waste of money. It didn’t work at all, not even a drop of milk came out. I had to express milk by hand to relieve the pressure. The next morning, I went searching for a Target store so that I could purchase a Medela pump.

I bought this pump about 3 wks ago and it was a waste of money! It worked well for about a wk and now I’m barly getting anything out with it. I have to keep waking my son up to eat more often. I wouldn’t tell anyone to buy this product. HUGE waste!! And thats sad with the gerber name on it. Oh and forget about a refund or a new pump.

If you only need to pump occasionally this manual pump will work. However if your going to use it more than say once or twice a week I wouldn’t recommend it because I have problems with milk backing up into the handle. Because of this it takes me a long time to pump an oz. of milk to store. I disappointed with this pump because I thought that the Gerber name implied that it would be a quality product.

My wife was interested in using a pump that worked according to her comfort, thus the manual. We have yet to get this thing to work. We would agree with the other reviews that this product is not effecient, period. Use discresion before purchasing this pump

I bought this pump for a trip to save me time by pumping in the car instead of in the middle of the night when the baby was sleeping. I was not able to get it to work. I tried taking it apart and then putting it back together. It apears that it is sucking but because the parts are not soft like other pumps there is no seal on the breast (or my boobs were too big and engorged). Whatever it is I tried it more than once and it is faster to hand express the milk into a cup.

This thing was a huge waste of money, it didn’t work at all.
We ended up purchasing an Avent Isis instead and it works flawlessly.
Steer clear from this piece of garbage.

This was a total waste of money. I tried for days, and I could not get any milk flow from this pump. It was a huge disappointment.

This pump did really well to start, but slowly day after day it became more difficult to use. It was slowly loosing suction and about a month into use the soft massage pad tore a small hole. The box says if your not satisfied they’ll replace it, but when I called they wouldn’t. Big waist of money!!!

I have bought the Gerber Massaging Manual Pump. I really did like it. I noticed that everyone else said it wasn’t that good. But I was able to get lots out of mine for my first daughter when she was younger. Now I am still using it for my second, and it is fine. The only thing is that I am looking for the valve piece at the bottom of the pump and cannot find it at any store. I am looking online at Gerber to order another piece, but the Canadian website is not running and I can’t see anything in the American’s unless I enter an address. That is the only down side of the product.
