Terrible. I pump for 1/2hour and barely get 4 oz between both breasts.

I like this pump better than my Medela that I paid over $200 for three years ago with my first child. The breast cups are more comfortable and of higher quality. The cups have a nice soft cover, and your nipples are not squeezed into a small cylinder like they are on the Medela. I do not see a big difference in the amount of milk that I got between the two systems. This one is not as portable, but is good if you are going to use it at home sitting at a table.

I have been using the pump for the past 5 weeks. I used a Medela pump in the hospital and I think the breast cups are much more comfortable on the Playtex. It was very helpful in getting my milk to come in right after the baby arrived and since she wasn’t gaining weight I have primarily been pumping and bottle feeding so I could make sure she was getting enough. I can typically pump anywhere from one to two ounces from each breast if it has been at least two hours since the last pumping or feeding. The pump seems to be holding up well and I am not sure if the limited amount I pump is a result of my production or the lack of ability of the pump to extract the milk. I have never used another pump other than the one in the hospital and at that point my milk had not come in so I wasn’t able to produce much so I can’t really compare. Overall I like this pump and I think it was a good value for the price but it may not be good for long term heavy use.

I hate this pump!!! I hard get 3 oz from both breast after 30 minutes. I called them and they sent me a new motor and still not getting more than 3 oz in 30 minutes.
I use The First Years pump with my first 2 children and was able to get 8 oz out in 10 minutes. I use the breast pump at the hospital when I had my 3rd child and the nurses started joking around calling me the cow because I got 12 oz out in 10 minutes.
Spent the money on a better pump.
