My daughter has had 2 wisper wear pumps for 4 months. They both broke down again for the 2nd time. 1st time she lost a month's use. The company is hard to contact. Secretary says you can't talk to anyone else. Refuse to refund purchase price and doesn't reimburse shipping. Consider with care!!!

I liked that the Whisper Wear pump was convenient to use. Being able to work while I pumped made it easier to fit pumping into my workday schedule. After a week of pumping with the Whisper Wear I realized that I was not expressing as much milk as I had at home with my manual pump. So I tested pumping with the Whisper Wear on one side and my manual on the other. I was able to get more milk in less time with the manual pump both times (I switched sides for my next pumping session and got the same results). I have been using my manual pump ever since because I find that the Whisper Wear while convenient and discreet is not efficient.

I really liked the concept of this pump. It was so small and hands free! I was very excited to try it when I returned to work, but then I talked to my LC about it and she said that her recommendation would be to use it occasionally, but not daily. I decided to use it for my daily pumping at work any way and I later realized that I should have listened to her. Since it presses against your breast in order to make it hands-free, it doesn't clean out all the ducts. Sometimes the bags spill out when I set them down and there isn't an option to use a bottle for same day feedings, so you waste a couple bags each time you pump for immediate use. Like my LC said if you need to pump occasionally this pump will work, but don’t rely on it for frequent pumpings on a daily basis.
